Seven persons P, Q, R, S, T, U and V, who live on seven different floors in a building. They work in seven different companies i.e. Google, IBM, Xiaomi, TCS, Infosys, Wipro and Samsung but not in the same order.
The one, who works in IBM, lives just above U, who works in TCS. S lives just below the floor on which R lives. Person who works in Samsung company and T do not live on an even numbered floor. The one who works in Infosys lives on even number floor below the fourth floor. There is only one floor between the floors on which S and the one who works in Wipro live. P lives on either topmost or lowermost floor. There are two floors between the one who works in TCS and the one who works Wipro. The one who lives on topmost floor works IBM company. Only two persons live below Q. The one who works Google lives on fifth floor.
Starting Point: As we have direct information, we will start solving puzzle from fixing P either on topmost or lowermost floor.

Inference: The one who works Infosys lives on even number floor below the fourth floor i.e. on 2nd floor.
Case I: When P lives on topmost floor:

6 | U | TCS |
5 | ||
4 | ||
3 | Q | |
2 | Infosys | |
1 |
Case II: When P lives on lowermost floor:
Floor | Person | Company |
7 | IBM | |
6 | U | TCS |
5 | ||
4 | ||
3 | Q | |
2 | Infosys | |
1 | P |
Clues: There are two floors between the one who works TCS and the one who works Wipro. Only one person lives between the one who works Wipro company and S, who lives just below R. Person who works Samsung and T do not live on an even numbered floor.
Inference: S, who lives just below R which is not possible in case II so, case II is invalid. Also T and the one who works in Samsung live on odd number floor, so, the one who works Samsung company lives on 1st floor and T lives on 5th floor.
