Important Exam Day Instructions for SBI Clerk Mains 2024

For those who are appearing for the SBI Clerk Mains 2024 examination on 25th Feb, 2024 must note that it is mandatory for all the candidates to carry their SBI Clerk Hall Ticket 2024 along with an ID proof. Another major set of instructions are as follows:

Candidates must bring in the same photograph as the one they have already uploaded while filling in the online application forms.

• In the SBI Clerk mains call letter it is specifically mentioned that “The photograph will be matched with the application and you must not change your appearance from the photo uploaded by you.”
• Reach the SBI examination centre 30 minutes before reporting time on your given examination date.

• Registration will be done at the exam centre through photo capture. Photo captured will be matched with the photo uploaded by the candidates in the application form.
• Proper dress code is mentioned in the admit card and candidates must abide by that. Mentioned below are the details related to that:

Light clothes are to be worn so that no device or instrument can be hidden

Half sleeved but not having big buttons or any badge. brooches etc

Don’t wear shoes, either slippers or sandals would do

Any candidate coming in coming in customary/ religious dress must report to the centre 20 minutes before the reporting time for checking.

Items permitted inside the exam centre

• Candidates must bring their own stationery items including pens, eraser and other important items

Items not permitted inside the exam centre

• Any stationary item which is in the form of some textual material anything written or printed, bits of papers, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner are not allowed
• Any communication device including bluetooth, earphones, microphone and even health band, etc. is not allowed.

IRIS Scan

IRIS will be scanned at the examination venue instead of biometric thumb impression. The process of capturing the IRIS is given below.

• The candidate’s left eye IRIS will be captured
• Any kind of contact lenses and spectacles are to be removed while capturing IRIS
• While capturing the IRIS, half feet distance between scanner and eye will be maintained
