SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

The SBI Clerk 2024 Exam is conducted in two phases:

SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam:
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Sections:
  - English Language (30 questions, 30 marks)
  - Numerical Ability (35 questions, 35 marks)
  - Reasoning Ability (35 questions, 35 marks)
- Total: 100 questions, 100 marks
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
SBI Clerk Mains Exam:
- Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
- Sections:
  - General/Financial Awareness (50 questions, 50 marks)
  - General English (40 questions, 40 marks)
  - Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions, 50 marks)
  - Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude (50 questions, 60 marks)
- Total: 190 questions, 200 marks
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

There is no interview for the clerk position, and the final selection is based on the marks scored in the Main exam.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2024 For Prelims

The SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam is the first stage of the selection process.
It is an online, multiple-choice question (MCQ) test.
The paper is divided into three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.
Each section has a fixed time limit, and the entire paper lasts for one hour.
The total marks for the preliminary exam are 100, with 1 mark awarded for each correct answer and a penalty of 1/4th of the mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

The Main Exam is divided into four sections: General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude.
The total marks for the Main Exam are 200, and it lasts for 2 hours and 40 minutes.
