SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024

The State Bank of India has released the SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria on its official website along with the SBI Clerk Notification PDF. SBI Clerk 2024 Nationality Criteria

• Indian Citizenship
• A Subject of  Nepal or Bhutan OR
• A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement OR
• A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, or Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India OR
• Candidates belonging to the category 2, 3, 4 must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt of India in their favor.

Note: Candidates other than permanent citizens of India must get an eligibility certificate approved by the Government of India in their favor.

SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2024 Educational Qualification

Given below are the detailed qualification requirements that you must fulfill to be eligible to appear in SBI Clerk 2024 exam:

• Graduate with 3 or 4 year degree in any discipline.
• Secured at least 50% in class 10 and degree courses from a recognized university.
• In final year of graduation, but must produce proof of passing the exams with at least 50% marks at the time of joining and should pass it before January 1, 2023.
• Well versed in official and local languages.
• Must possess an integrated dual degree (IDD) and must have a qualifying date on the degree before January 1, 2023.
• Must be well versed in the English language (reading and writing).

SBI Clerk Age limit 2024

If you want to crack the upcoming SBI clerk 2024 exam, you must be of 20 years of age or above as of and must not exceed 28 years of age, i.e. you should have been born not later than 01.04.2002 and not before 02.041994 (both days inclusive).

SBI Clerk 2024 Age Relaxation

Given below is the age relaxation in the following table for certain candidates. You must go through it before the SBI Clerk registration process.

Note: If you want the benefits of age relaxation, you must produce/show the relevant certificates at the time of joining, after the final SBI Clerk selection process. No changes in this category will be permitted after the successful SBI Clerk registration process. You will also not be allowed to contact through email/ phone in this regard.

Candidates under the reserved category have reservations in SBI clerical positions. There are a different number of vacancies provided based on different categories:

SBI Clerk 2024 Reservation for PWD/XS/DXS- Points to Remember

• The reservation of the OBC category is only applicable to the “Non-creamy layer”. Candidates belonging to “Creamy Layer” cannot avail of the benefits. They need to mention the “General” or “General (LD/VI/HI/ d&e) category.
• Candidates must provide the OBC certificate declaring the candidate to be of “Non-creamy layer”.
• EWS category candidates may avail of the benefits after they produce the “Income and Asset Certificate” issued by the Government of India.
• Candidates who are currently associated with SBI or in the past are not eligible to appear in the exam.
• If there is an adverse report or weak CIBIL or other agency, such candidates will be rejected.
• PwD candidates need to produce the “Disability Certificate” issued by Medical or any Component Authority in the district of residence.
