Time is Money
With only 45 minutes in this section and 80 questions to be evaluated (and a majority of them to be answered), it’s obviously going to be a herculean task. However, don’t panic, you can always do enough practice beforehand and perform well in this section. 45 minutes for 80 questions imply that you get less than 35 seconds for a question. Last year’s cut-off of 12.5 imply that not all questions need to be solved but at the same time, you need to understand that the overall score needs to be maximized and you need to make the most of these 45 minutes. It’s advisable to analyze and pick the easy questions and solve them to maximize your score in the given time. Also, for a decent accuracy avoid making guesses as there is a negative marking in place.
Many Topics to Cover…
As the name states, it’s purely a test of logic/reasoning & concentration. Understand the inherent rules of different concepts and practice different questions on the same concept to get a good understanding. Please be informed that a number of banking exams have introduced several types of questions which involve more than one concept and because of this are a bit complicated to solve and take more time. You need to practice on these questions in controlled situations (such as when taking mock tests) so that you can take on similar questions in the actual exam.
