RRB is a central government agency that comes under the Ministry of Railways to recruit railway department staff. The selection process for RRB JE 2023 is done through CBT I & II (Computer-Based Test), document verification, and medical examination.

The minimum age limit to apply for RRB JE is of 18 years while the maximum age limit is of 33 years as of 1/1/2023. Age relaxations are provided as per government regulations.

The selection for RRB JE is a four steps process. It includes two phases of online MCQ tests followed by the document verification and then, medical examination. The board prepares the merit list of the selected candidates to become Junior Engineers in Indian railways.
