After the release of the IBPS notification, the most common query of students is “What is the number of vacancies? The reason why the number of vacancies is the first thing aspirants look for is, it directly influences the candidate’s prospect of selection cut off and so forth.

If we flick a glance at the statistics, in 2017, the number of vacancies for RRB Office Assistants was 7884 which is the highest in the past 6 years. In 2018 the number descended to 5249. In 2019 the number further went down to 3674. However, in 2020 the number jumped to 4624. In 2021 and 2022 the number of vacancies were 6794 and 4483 respectively.
By observing the trend our sources speculate 4500 to 6500 vacancies this year.
