RBI Grade B 2025 Phase 1 is very important in this regard because you cannot reach Phase 2 without clearing it. RBI Grade B Syllabus For Phase 2 (Mains)

The Phase 2 Syllabus for RBI Grade B 2025 is divided into three parts. These 3 parts are in the form of three papers: Economic & Social Issues (ESI), English Descriptive, and Finance & Management (FM). Each of these papers holds its own importance because, in Phase 2, there are both overall cut-offs as well as sectional cut-offs. Since the RBI Grade B 2025 notification has not been released yet, we cannot say that any minor changes might be made to the syllabus. However, it is expected that the syllabus will remain the same as last year.

RBI Grade B Officer DSIM Syllabus

The syllabus for the DSIM stream is as per the post of the DSIM Cadre officers of RBI. He is responsible for taking care of the collection, compilation, and statistical analysis. Plus, he interprets all data related to banking, corporates, the external sector, and more. The Paper 1 is conducted online and tests candidates with multiple-choice questions. On the other hand, Paper 2 and Paper 3 are descriptive-based exams. The RBI Grade B 2025 Notification has not been released yet, but it may be released soon. If you are preparing for the RBI Grade B exam or are about to start, you would be eager to know everything about the exam pattern. This will help you understand how many sections are there in the exam and what can be expected from them.

RBI Grade B Interview Exam Pattern

Total Marks	The Interview consists of a total of 75 marks.
Weightage	This last stage comprises 20% weightage in the final selection.

RBI Grade B Marking Scheme

It is important to keep in mind the negative marking scheme that is part of both the Phases of RBI Grade B Exams. In the Phase 1 exam, for each incorrect answer, 1/4th (0.25) marks will be deducted. The best way to deal with this negative marking is to skip the question and move forward if it is not solvable by you. Don’t waste your time on guessing, because if you leave the question, you won’t face any penalty for it.

On the other hand, there is a 1/4 negative marking in Phase 2. So be careful while attempting questions. Keep in mind that, each incorrect answer:

• 1-mark questions will see a deduction of 0.25 marks
• 2-mark questions will see a deduction of 0.50 marks

Here in this Phase too, skipping a question you cant solve quickly is the best policy as well. There will be no penalty for skipping a question.

RBI Grade B Interview Syllabus: Question Types

The RBI Grade B Interview round is as important as other Phases of the exam. In this final stage of the selection process, you can fetch up to 75 marks. The questions in it are designed to test the candidate’s overall personality, their communication skills, their newly acquired knowledge of the topics involving the test, and their decision-making ability.
