The RBI Grade B Phase 1 is of 200 marks. Candidates have to face 200 questions of 1 mark each in 120 minutes of time duration. For every wrong answer, candidates will be penalized 0.25 marks.

The second stage in the selection process is the Phase 2 exam. There are three separate papers objective+descriptive in Phase 2 are English, Economic and Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development.

Candidates will be selected for the interview based on the marks scored in the Phase 1 and 2 exams. The interview process carries a weightage of 75 marks. It is the final stage in the RBI Grade B recruitment process. The interview panel evaluates the candidates knowledge on finance, economy and communication skills. This stage comes after 1-2 months after the Phase 1 and 2 exams. All the selected candidates appeared in the interview. Then, the final merit is prepared considering the marks obtained in the three stages of the selection process. RBI finally released the appointment of candidates joining as Grade B officers.
RBI Grade B exam selection process is conducted in three stages Phase 1, Phase 2, and Interview. The recruitment cycle starts after the release of the notification. We can expect that RBI Grade B 2024 official notification will be out in April/May 2024. Then, the online application will start. Within a month of the release of official notification, the Phase 1 exam is conducted. Then, the Phase 2 exam is conducted in 25 days. RBI announces the exam dates on the release of official notification. The interview dates are announced later on after the Phase 2 exam.
The RBI Grade B Selection Process involves three stages Phase 1 (200 marks), Phase 2 (300 marks) and Interview (75 marks).
Candidates have to achieve a 50% score in the interview to qualify for it.
For every wrong answer, candidates will be penalized 0.25 mark in RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam.
