RBI Grade B Phase-1 Exam 2023: Quantitative Aptitude Preparation Strategy
If you want to maximize your Quants score in the Phase 1 exam, you should start with easy topics & questions first and then only should you move on to the difficult ones. Master basic concepts & formulas, squares upto 40, cubes upto 20, tables upto 20, percentage fractions upto 20. Solve around 20-30 questions of Quadratic Equations and Simplification and 3 to 5 sets of Data Interpretation to be at the top of your game.

1. Data Interpretation
Questions on Data Interpretation involve pie charts, bar diagrams, tabular charts, line graphs, and missing data caselets. Multiplication tables. Quick calculations are the key to solving DI questions. Be ready to face about 11 to 15 DI questions.
2. Simplification & Approximation
Questions on Simplification & Approximation are based on the BODMAS rule, decimals, percentages, approximation, etc. Thus, they require quick calculations. Therefore, you should practice the basic rules of simplification, the BODMAS rule, and converting decimal numbers to the nearest number. Be ready to face 5 to 7 questions on this tricky topic. 3. Arithmetic

4. Quadratic Equations
Questions on Quadratic Equations involve the comparison of values of x and y where two equations are given. Therefore, it is essential to practice linear equations, squares equations, cases such as squares & square root case, cubes case, square & cube case, and table method to solve quadratic equations. Be ready to face 3 to 5 questions on this topic.
