RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Pattern 2023
The RBI Grade B Selection Process will be conducted ONLINE. The RBI Grade B Exam Pattern will comprise a total of three phases. Please refer to the table below for further information. The Phase 1 Examination has the following 4 sections:

RBI Grade B Phase 2 Exam Pattern
The Phase 2 examination of RBI Grade B consists of 3 papers of 100 Marks each.

Note: In Paper-I and Paper-III, 6 descriptive questions are asked out of which only 4 are supposed to be answered (2 Questions of 15 marks and 2 questions of 10 marks each). To be selected as RBI Grade B officers, the students must qualify for all 3 phases to make it to the final merit list. An interview round is also conducted for candidates who qualify for the first two phases of the RBI Grade B Officer Exam. The RBI Grade B Final selection will be done based on the score obtained in the RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam and interview combined. The Interview will be of 75 marks for each RBI post.

RBI Grade B Phase 1 2023-Important Topic to Cover
RBI Grade B Phase 1 of RBI Grade B comprises 4 sections-General awareness, English language, Quantitative aptitude, and Reasoning.
Here are the important topics that you must focus more on:
1. General Awareness
Monthly current affairs since the previous year, Economy and Finance, Economic survey, Union budget, Payment and settlement systems, Banking terms, Latest summits, and Government schemes.
Tips: For Current Affairs, study daily and then revise week after week, month after month, and once before the exam. For Static GK, attempt to cover more economy and finance-related questions alongside banking terms and terminologies.
2. English Language
Cloze test, Error spotting, and Para jumbles.
3. Quantitative Aptitude
Series, Data Interpretation (DI), Quadratic equations, Data sufficiency, Ratio, Percentage, Mensuration, Algebra and Time, and Speed and Distance.
Tips: Focus more on Data Interpretation & series and arithmetic topics.
4. Reasoning
Syllogism, Critical reasoning, Inequality, Blood relation, Analogy, Seating arrangement, Input-output, Coding & Decoding, and Data sufficiency.
