These systems are known as lCGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average), OGPA (Overall Grade Point Average), or CPI (Cumulative Performance Index). In such cases, many candidates remain worried about how their grades will be converted into percentage marks in the RBI Grade B exam.
RBI uses specific criteria to convert CGPA/OGPA/CPI to percentage marks. It accepts the conversion criteria provided by the respective universities and follows a method that a university defines as its method for CGPA to percentage conversion.
In case, it does not have a predefined conversion criterion, RBI follows the calculation method to convert CGPA to percentage. It follows a rule that says:
- CGPA of 6.75 = 60% aggregate marks
- CGPA of 6.25 = 55% aggregate marks
- CGPA of 5.75 = 50% aggregate marks
Candidates need to check with their universities to confirm the conversion method used. He should then align it with the requirements of RBI.
