In case, it does not have a predefined conversion criterion, RBI follows the calculation method to convert CGPA to percentage. It follows a rule that says:

  • CGPA of 6.75 = 60% aggregate marks
  • CGPA of 6.25 = 55% aggregate marks
  • CGPA of 5.75 = 50% aggregate marks

Candidates need to check with their universities to confirm the conversion method used. He should then align it with the requirements of RBI.
