RBI Grade B Exam Pattern

RBI Grade B 2023 Exam will be conducted in 3 phases:

  • Phase-I or Prelims;
  • Phase-II or Mains
  • Interview

To become a Grade B Officer in the Reserve Bank of India, you must ace all three phases of the selection process. Your final ranking will depend on how well you do in the main exam and the interview round.

  • You will have 120 minutes to complete the RBI Grade B Prelims exam, which is worth 200 marks.

The mains exam consists of three papers with different requirements. If you are applying for RBI Grade B Officers in Gr B (DR)- General, you need to take papers I, II, and III. If you are applying for RBI Grade B Officers in Gr B (DR)- DEPR & DSIM, you only need to take Paper-II and III. Paper I & III have both objective and descriptive questions, while Paper- II is only descriptive. Each paper is worth 100 marks. The English paper tests your writing skills.
