RBI Grade B officer’s job is one such post. Every year, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) conducts RBI Grade B Exam to fill hundreds of vacancies for various posts. RBI also conducts exams for recruitment for office Assistants in The Reserve Bank of India, but the RBI Grade B Officer Exam is more popular and tougher than the officer’s exam.

Those candidates who will qualify for the two phases (Phase-I & Phase-II) will have to face the final process, which is the interview round. Phase-I only contains objective questions, whereas Phase-II tests the test takers with explanatory answers as well.

Phase 1 of the RBI Grade B Examination 2021 comprises a total of 4 parts. Check out the distribution of Marks:

Note: The RBI Grade B Prelims exam 2021 is conducted in an online mode and the total marks allotted for all the sections is 200 and the total time allotted for the completion of all the sections of the Preliminary exam is 120 minutes. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer given.

The mains (Phase-II) exam has 2 papers (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III) divided into a total of 300 Marks. You will be required to appear in all shifts and you will get Separate Admission Letters for each shift. Those candidates who will qualify for the first Phase and get shortlisted via cut-off can appear in the Phase-II exam. Check out the distribution of Marks:

Note:
Objective questions: For both Paper I and III, there will be 30 questions and 50 marks for Objective questions (some questions carrying 2 marks each and some carrying 1 mark each).
Descriptive questions: In the case of Descriptive questions, 6 questions will be asked, of which candidates will be required to attempt 4 questions (2 of 15 marks each and 2 of 10 marks each). In case, candidate answers more than 4 questions in descriptive, the first 4 shall be evaluated.
