RBI Assistant Notification is not released yet. And RBI Assistant Prelims Date can fall sometime in the month of April/ May 2023. So, there is hardly 1-2 months left for your preparation. It’s high time that you pull your socks up and leave no stone unturned in your preparation. With tens of lakhs of aspirants in the fray, you need nothing but the best resources for your preparation to outshine them. While revising concepts and practising questions hold its own importance, it’s equally important to monitor your performance in a controlled environment. Mock Tests come really handy in replicating the actual test in terms of the difficulty level of questions, sectional time limits etc. With each mock test you take, you get a personalized analysis to help you monitor your performance.
With the help of Mock Tests’ analysis figure out which topics you are really good at. Solving questions from these topics shouldn’t take much time and will help you boost your sectional score. Also, check out the areas you are weak at and try revising the concepts therein. Solve a number of different types of questions on those topics. Solve sectional tests on an alternate day basis to encounter new types of questions.
Tip- You get 20 minutes to solve 35 questions. Pick the easy ones first. Remember that the art of picking the easy ones come by practising as many questions as possible and reviewing them.
Once again, practise different kinds of questions on a daily basis. RBI can throw surprises in its exams. Take Mock Tests on a regular basis to deal with questions which include more than 1 concept. When you regularly practice more questions having different concepts, you become all the more ready to deal with such questions in the actual exam. Find out the areas you are not so comfortable with and put extra efforts to deal with them.
Tip- Like the Quants section, you get 20 minutes to solve 35 questions. The score of this section can be maximized with a lot of practice.
If you ain’t reading the editorial section of a prominent newspaper on a daily basis, start doing it right away. Reading editorials on different topics will make you acquainted with topics of different genres. It will also increase your reading speed. Don’t just read for the sake of reading but comprehend it as well. Monitor and increase your reading speed. Consider taking help of different websites to sharpen your word-power and more importantly, use the new words in your conversation or while writing. It will help you in memorizing its meaning.
Tip- You get 20 minutes to answer 30 questions. Start with the questions on easy topics. Even RC has a handful of easy questions. Learn to identify them. Practice an RC on an alternate day basis.
