This call letter, along with a photocopy of photo identity proof duly stapled together will have to be submitted at the end of the exam by putting it in the designated drop-box. Don’t forget to follow the social distancing mode of exam-related instructions, install the Aarogya Setu app on mobile, and carry items only that are permitted into the exam venue.

Note: Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will not be accepted as valid ID proof. Your name appearing on the call letter should exactly match the name as appearing on the photo identity proof. Female candidates who have changed first/last/middle name post marriage must take special note of this. If there is any mismatch between the name indicated in the Call Letter and Photo Identity Proof, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

1.      Attempt Strategy for RBI Assistant Reasoning Section

This section is a part of both Prelims and Mains and requires sharp analytical and logical skills. Prelims exam invites 35 questions of 1 mark each.

• Solve puzzles questions first. But if you face any difficulty while solving puzzles, you can jump to miscellaneous questions, like, Inequality, Alphanumeric Series, Coding-Decoding and others.
• Choose easy topics to answer first. This will help you in saving your time for the remaining questions.

2.      Attempt Strategy for RBI Assistant English Section

This section will consist of 30 questions of 1 mark each in Prelims. Your knowledge of basic Grammar rules will be tested by questions on vocabulary, reading comprehension, synonyms, antonyms, error-detection, cloze test, para-jumbles, idioms, phrases, fill in the blanks, etc.

• 1 set of Reading Comprehension can be asked in this section. So, if you come across a story-based RC, attempt it first and then move on to other questions.
• In RC, go through the questions first and then read the passage to know the answers easily and quickly.
• Cloze Test is another important topic. Read the sentence first and then choose the correct option from the given options. Skip the question you find tough, and answer the next question. You can come back to it after answering it as all the questions are logically connected.
• You can also attempt questions based on Grammar in the beginning. These questions are quite easy and consume little time.

3.        Strategy for RBI Assistant Numerical Ability or Quantitative Aptitude Section

There will be 35 questions of 35 marks (1 mark each) in this section in the Prelims exam. The questions will be based on real-life calculations.

• You can expect 1-2 or even 3 sets of DI.
