This section contains a variety of arithmetic topics. You must complete this section in the time remaining after you have completed all of the other questions. When answering the arithmetic questions, start with the topics that you know well and have thoroughly practiced.
Make certain to complete all of the quizzes in the Quantitative Aptitude section. Try them on a regular basis to strengthen your concepts.
It is the most important factor to remember when taking any competitive exam. The only way to improve your efficiency and speed in answering the question is to practise. When taking a practise test, keep track of the time it takes to answer each question individually. Analyze your weak and strong points as a result. Strengthen your weak areas by understanding their fundamental concepts, and polish your strong areas by learning and practising their short tricks.
When they are unable to answer an easy question, many students take it to their hearts and ego. Sometimes we make stupid mistakes and try to fix them without considering the time constraints. So, disregard that question and move on to the next. If you have time, go over it again at the end.
As we all know, SBI has implemented sectional timing in the Prelims phase, which means you will only have 20 minutes to answer all 35 questions. Plan your exam strategy ahead of time. Everyone is aware of their strong points. Start with topics that are simple and require little time. For example, you could start with Simplification/Approximation, Quadratic Equation, and Data Interpretation. After that, give the Number series a single try. Finally, try various topics with which you are familiar.
A man becomes perfect through practice. You would have known your weak points if you had practiced on a daily basis. So, don’t attempt the questions on that topic first because you won’t be confident when answering them, which will either result in incorrect questions and negative marking or just a waste of time.
Sectional and full-length mock tests should be practiced. You will be able to analyze how you should approach the quant section in the final exam if you attempt it within the time limit. You will be aware of the silly mistakes that you can avoid. Additionally, practicing allows you to identify which topics take the most time and must be completed first in order to receive the highest possible grade.
To achieve a 20+ score in this section, try to answer at least 25 questions in each section.
