Eight people A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H live on eight floors where the ground floor is numbered as 1 and the floor immediately above the ground floor is numbered as 2 and so on till the topmost floor. Each of them works in eight different companies i.e., HP, HCL, HFL, IBM, TCS, BEL, IOC and HUL but not in the same order. Also, each of them likes different color i.e., Black, White, Green, Yellow, Red, Pink, Purple and Blue but not necessarily in the same order.
C does not like the blue color. G, who lives on an even-numbered floor, does not like blue or pink color. Three persons live between B and the one, who works in HUL. The one, who likes green color lives immediately below E. Three persons live between D and G, who works in BEL. The one, who works in HUL lives immediately below G. F, who likes black, lives immediately above G and immediately below C. There are five floors between the one, who works in HCL and B. The one, who works in IOC, likes green color and lives immediately below the one, who works in HUL. H lives on an even-numbered floor and does not like yellow. A does not work in HUL but likes white color. Three persons live between the one, who works in HP and the one, who likes the green color. Four persons live between the one, who works in HFL and the one, who likes pink color. D does not work in TCS but likes the purple color. B likes red color.
Starting Point: Since direct information is given about G, so, start with fixing G as G lives on an even number floor.
