NIACL Assistant Exam Day Guidelines 2025: The New India Assurance Company Limited conducts the NIACL Assistant 2025 exam to recruit the Assistant post. The NIACL Assistant Preliminary Exam is the first stage of the selection process, and candidates must follow specific guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free exam experience. So we are providing exam day guidelines for all the candidates who are going to appear for the NIACL Assistant exam. So candidates should read all the instructions carefully and give the exam tension-free. The detailed exam day guidelines for the NIACL Assistant Preliminary Exam 2025 are given below:

NIACL Assistant Exam Day Guidelines 2025 Overview

The NIACL Assistant 2025 Exam selection process consists of two phases including the Preliminary exam and Mains exam. The NIACL Assistant Prelims exam will be scheduled on 27th January 2025. Candidates can check NIACL Assistant 2025 all the latest details in the table below.

NIACL Assistant Exam Day Guidelines 2025

  1. Understand the Exam Format

The Preliminary Examination is conducted online and comprises three sections:

English Language: 30 questions (30 marks)

Reasoning Ability: 35 questions (35 marks)

Numerical Ability: 35 questions (35 marks)

Total Duration: 60 minutes

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

  1. Admit Card Instructions

Download the admit card from the official NIACL website well in advance by using their registration number password and Date of Birth. Candidates check the admit card and verify all details including your name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and venue. Attach a recent passport-sized photograph (same as uploaded during the application process) to the admit card.

  1. Documents to Carry

Candidates must bring the following items to the exam centre:

  • A printed copy of the admit card.
  • A valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, etc.).
  • A photocopy of the photo ID proof.
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs.
  1. Reporting Time and Entry

Reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card because latecomers are not allowed to enter the examination hall.

Items Not Allowed In the NIACL Assistant 2025 Examination Centre

The following items are NOT allowed inside the NIACL Assistant 2025 examination centre:-

  • Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
  • Any communication device like Mobile phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
  • Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hairpin, Hair-band, belts, Cap, etc.
  • All ornament like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooches etc. should be thoroughly checked.
  • Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, devices with screen freeze or storage facilities etc.
  • Any metallic item
  • Any eatable item opened or packed, water bottle etc.
  • Any other item that could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like cameras, Bluetooth devices etc.

NIACL Assistant 2025 Exam Centre

  • The examination will be conducted online in venues given in the respective call letters.
  • No request for change of centre / venue / date / session for Examination shall be entertained.
  • Company, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and / or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc.
  • Company also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he / she has opted for.
  • Candidate will appear for the examination(s) at Examination Centre(s) at his / her own risks and expenses and Company will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature.
  • Tentative list of centres for Tier I (Preliminary Examination) & Tier II (Main Examination) is given below.
  • Centre and dates of Examinations are liable to be changed at the Company’s discretion. In the event of cancellation of Examinations at any centre, the Company may at its discretion allot an alternative centre to the candidates concerned. Separate call letters will be issued for Tier I & Tier II examinations and should be downloaded by the candidates from the link provided in the Company’s website https://www.newindia.co.in at appropriate time. Candidates will not be admitted to the examinations without the Call Letters.

What time should I reach the exam centre?

Candidates arrive at the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on their admit card.
