The Punjab State Cooperative Bank Clerk Exam 2021: Every year whenever a new notification is released by any of the banking organizations; it also comes along with many pieces of information. Generally, aspirants only focus on information such as exam pattern, syllabus, salary structure, list of vacancies, eligibility criteria, etc. However, at times some other relevant information is also mentioned in such notifications which often goes unread by all of us. And having said that we must go through such pieces of information as well as it can be useful.
Mostly, such information will include general instructions or terms and conditions set by the examining authority; which in this case is the Punjab State Cooperative Bank.
Here are certain exam guidelines or set of instructions given by the PSCB for 2021 Aspirants:
Once you have chosen your desired examination center it can’t be changed further. The PSCB will not entertain any such request from fellow aspirants.
The exact exam venue will be communicated via the e-admit cards which will be issued in the coming days. All the arrangements regarding travel will be made by the applicant themselves. No allowances will be provided by the PSCB for such expenses.
The finalized date for the written test will be communicated via the official website of the PSCB. The PSCB has also asked aspirants to keep checking the website for regular updates regarding exam dates, admit card availability, and other updates regarding vacancies.
The PSCB has made it very clear that no electronic gadgets including mobile phones, calculators, handwritten notes, books, are not permitted inside the exam hall at all.
No candidate should appear at the examination center without the e-admit card and legit original identity proof. The following identity proofs will be admissible: Driving license, Voter ID Card, Passport, PAN Card, or Aadhar card (No colored photocopies will be allowed).
A colored passport size photograph should be pasted on the e-admit card issued.
All the candidates must reach the examination venue at least an hour early.
No extra time will be provided to the candidates who appear late at the venue.
If you as a candidate doesn’t match the eligibility criteria and still clear the written test, you won’t be offered the job under any condition whatsoever. All the aspirants who clear the written test will then have to go through the counseling process which would include the verification of your documents pertaining to the eligibility criteria. For example – for CDEO selected candidates will have to verify their original documents or certifications of Punjabi language examination of Matriculation standard. And also, the diploma or certification of Computer (minimum six months) which is recognized by the ISO.
The decision of posting is taken by the PSCB itself on the basis of merit. No voluntary choices are given to the selected candidates. The posting station once opted at the time of counseling will not be changed in the future.

All the reserved category seats are set very well in the accordance with the guidelines and policies issued by the state government of Punjab.
The following reserved categories are eligible for PSCB Clerk 2021 reservations: Scheduled Caste, physically handicapped, Ex-serviceman, freedom fighters, sports, and economically weaker sections.
The paper will have negative marking criteria. A 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
A total of 856 vacancies has been rolled out this year for multiple banking positions. Out of which 739 vacancies are available for CDEO (Clerk-cum Data Entry Officer.)
