NABARD Grade A Mains 2024 exam tested the preparation of the candidates with objective and descriptive questions. The exam examined the knowledge and writing skills of the candidates objectively and theoretically. They were required to pen essays, letters, and reports. The Paper 2 for Generalist Posts emphasized Economic and Social Issues (ESI) and Agriculture and Rural Development (ARD). The questions were primarily about rural policies, financial inclusion, and current issues. On the other hand, Paper 2 for Specialist Posts attracted stream-specific questions. As per the feedback of many candidates who took the exam, the exam was of moderate difficulty level. Paper 2 featured some difficult questions, while the General English section was fairly easy. NABARD Grade A Mains Exam contained Paper 1 (Paper 1 (General English) and Paper 2 (subject-specific) as always. In the English section, as discussed above, the candidates had to write essays, business letters and reports about current economic, agricultural, and social issues. In Paper 2, the candidates were tested with different types of objective questions on topics related to ESI and ARD. These questions were followed by descriptive questions that called for detailed analysis. Specialist candidates had to face domain-specific questions related to their respective streams.
The General English section tested candidates’ language skills with topics like financial inclusion, sustainable agriculture, and rural entrepreneurship. They were tasked with writing essays, letters, or reports. This part tested their focus while writing and their ability to express ideas coherently.
