With the mains exam being held on Oct 01, 2021 there are only 3 days left. You have come a long journey alongside preparing for the prelims exam, clearing it and preparing for the mains exam. For the last couple of days, your exam preparation should be very systematic & straightforward as you can’t take a chance at this stage. For sure, don’t give a try to any new topic now. Rather keep practicing questions on topics you’re comfortable with. Keep taking one mock test per day as you have been doing till now. And more importantly, analyze the report which you get immediately after submitting the mock test. Take a moment to check out the questions you did incorrectly to ensure that you don’t repeat the same mistake in the actual exam.
Although you would have reviewed the exam pattern several times till now, review it once more at this last stage. Coupled with your performance in different mock tests, come up with a strategy on which topics in each section need to be tackled first and how much time should be assigned to them. The strategy should also incorporate your strengths & weaknesses and last year’s cut-offs. For your convenience, we are providing last year’s cut-offs below. Please be informed that this should be just used as a reference as this year’s cut-offs will depend on numerous factors such as difficulty-level of the paper, number of vacancies, number of applicants etc.

There isn’t any need to take any mock test on September 30, 2021 i.e. one day before the exam. Getting stressed and solving lots of questions on the last won’t help much. Rather, it may make you exhausted. Be relaxed and stay calm, thinking whatever could be done, you have done and be ready for the showtime tomorrow with the printout of your admit card, a valid Id proof and the correct location of your test center. Wishing you all the best for your exam!
