General Awareness Last Minute Revision Tips

  • The best part about this section is that unlike reasoning & quantitative aptitude, you don’t have to do lengthy calculations.
  • Since your answers will be completely based on your memory, there will be no questions answered incorrectly because of calculation errors.
  • When you see a GA question, you either know its answer or you don’t know it. Therefore GA questions take less time to be answered.
  • Ensure that you only answer those questions, whose answers you are sure of. You can guess the answers of some questions but keep in mind that there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark. So don’t do the guesswork for too many questions otherwise your score will get affected.
  • Start revising your notes and other GK PDFs now. Only memorizing & timely revision can help you score more in this section.
  • Keep making notes of the important points as you revise the notes again & again. If you jot them down in your own handwriting, it will help you in memorizing them.
  • Don’t forget to revise important Static Banking Awareness topics.
  • Revise the Weekly CA PDFs of the past 6-7 months. It’s often been observed that a majority of the current affairs questions are asked from the past 6-7 months.
  • Revise the Monthly CA Capsules to cover any topic which you might have missed otherwise.
  • Some questions are also asked from Static GK topics. Revise them as well.
  • Ensure that you have covered these Static GK Topics: India and its Neighboring Countries, Award-Winning Books, Sports, The chief ministers of India list, Governors of India list, List of Indian banks’ headquarters, List of lakes in India, List of RBI Governors of India, List of RBI Governors of India, Country capitals and currency, States and Capitals of India, International Airports in India, Power Plants in India, National Parks of India, Stadiums in India, Important Awards in India, List of Nobel prize winners 2022, List Of Geographical Indication Tags, List of Presidents of India, List of Vice Presidents of India, Tiger Conservation in India, Prime minister of India list, Prominent gardens in India, Important awards in India, Summits and conferences.
