This year, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) has released 49 Assistant Manager posts via a recruitment notification. These posts will be filled by candidates from Actuarial, Generalist, Research, IT, Law, and Finance streams. Candidates who want to grab one of these posts must clear three phases or stages. Candidates who want to become IRDAI Assistant Manager should have to clear 3 Tiers. The Phase 1 exam is qualifying and is not considered in the final selection. Here is the detailed IRDAI Assistant Manager Selection Process:

The Phase 1 exam is an online test having multiple-choice questions. The Paper will be set in both Hindi and English Languages entertaining 4 sections. Candidates can fetch a total of 160 marks in the time duration of 90 minutes.

Note: IRDAI Assistant Manager Phase 1 is qualifying in nature. There will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the mark per question.
The Phase II exam has three papers: Paper I, Paper II, and Paper III. All three papers are descriptive in nature. The questions appear on the screen and answers are written on answer sheets. Paper I is for 1 hour, and the maximum marks are 100. The questions are in the English language. On the other hand, Paper II is 1 hour long, having a total of 100 marks. The questions come from Economic and Social Issues that impact Insurance. Paper III is based on Insurance and Management. The duration of this Paper is 60 minutes or 1 hour and the maximum marks are 100. The Test is conducted in English and Hindi (except Test of English Language which will be provided only in English).
