This is an effective way to lay the foundation of your preparation by understanding the exam pattern and familiarizing yourself with the type of questions asked in the examination.
Begin by revising the fundamental concepts of mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and statistics. Ensure that you have a good understanding of topics such as percentages, ratios and proportions, averages, simple and compound interest, time and distance, and basic geometry formulas.
For exams like IRDAI that cover a wide range of topics, making a study plan and going over all the topics every week is, dividing time to revise is of utmost importance.
Quantitative Aptitude is a time-sensitive section, so practice solving questions under time constraints. Try to allocate time for each section and determine the maximum time for each question. This will help you improve your speed and accuracy. Use a stopwatch or timer to simulate exam conditions while solving practice questions.
Pay attention to the topics or types of questions that you find challenging. Work on improving your understanding and problem-solving techniques in those areas. Seek help from teachers, online forums, or study groups if needed.
Learn shortcuts, formulas, and tricks to solve problems quickly. These techniques can save you time during the exam. Practice applying these shortcuts while solving practice questions to become proficient in their use.
Take mock tests regularly to assess your progress and identify areas that require further improvement. Analyze your performance in each test and work on strengthening your weak areas.
Maintain a positive attitude and stay calm during the exam. Learn to employ various tools such as breathing exercises, yoga, music, exercise etc,. for a healthy mind. It will keep any chance to make mistakes in haste.
