Focus on the topic covered rather than time spent

In the planner, we have allocated topics of different sections (English Language, Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude) to different days. We strongly suggest that you complete the revision of each topic and for this purpose, don’t consider the time. It shouldn’t be the case that you studied for a said number of hours and couldn’t complete the revision of topics mentioned in the planner.

Adapt the timetable to go at the rate with which you understand & practice

Going with the revision planner is important to complete the revision in time. But at the same time, you need to ensure that you are not rushing through it. You must understand each topic and practice a lot of questions on it. For this, if you have to devote more hours in a day, please do it.

Feed the planner in your Google Calendar

We strongly encourage you to feed this planner in the Google Calendar of your phone. Most of of the times your phone is with you and it will continously keep reminding you of which topic to revise next. Also, Having the planner in your phone will help you achieve flexibility in the sense that if you ain’t able to revise any topic in the morning, you can do it in the evening and likewise.

Prioritize the sections & topics

When doing the revision, you may like to revise again & again the topics which you are already confident in. This doesn’t make much sense as you need to focus on those topics in which you need improvement. So priortize different topics accordingly while revising.

Make a note of the most & least confident topics

Make a list of topics in which you have maximum confidence and the ones in which you don’t have so much confidence. Do it for all the 3 sections and assign weights to them. Amend the planner in such a way that you give more importance to the concept-clarity of weak topics and at the same time keep practising strong topics.

You can also highlight the topics in different colours as per your confidence. Revise the weak topics at that time of the day when you’re in your best mood.

How much time do you have for Revision?

  • It’s highly important that you keep a track on the number of days which are left for revision on each day. As each day pass, you will get to know the number of days left and the topics left for revision.
  • Set a clear deadline for each topic and try to stick to that deadline.

Have an optimum balance between stress & performance

A little stress is actually good for your revision as it keeps pushing you to meet your targets. You should be conscious enough not to get overstressed thereby affecting your performance. Keep a balance of stress and performance to utilize this revision time perfectly.
