IBPS RRB Post-wise Salary 2022: In-Hand Salary

IBPS RRB PO Salary (Officer Scale 1)

As an IBPS RRB Probationary Officer (Scale 1), you can receive a salary in the pay band of Rs. 51,000 to 58,000/-. Plus, you can also get an increment in the salary on a regular basis.

IBPS RRB Clerk Salary (Office Assistant)

As an IBPS Officer Assistant (Multipurpose) or IBPS RRB Clerk your salary can range between Rs. 21,000 to Rs. 23,000.

IBPS RRB Allowances and Perks 2022

As an officers selected under IBPS RRB Exams, you can enjoy multiple allowances. The final in-hand salary of IBPS RRB Officers includes the sum of all of their allowances and basic pay after all the deductions. RRB Officers get Dearness Allowances, House Rental Allowances, and Special Allowances as per their basic pay. Apart from all these allowances, there are some other allowances that are not fixed but conditional. Here are the details of such allowances:

  • Travel Allowances- The bank provides its employees with complete travel allowances or the reimbursement of the amount spent on petrol/diesel.
  • Leased Accommodation- Also known as House Rental Allowance (HRA), in this case, the bank either provides a house quarterly to live or allows the employees to rent accommodation for which the bank pays.
  • Medical Allowance- The bank pays a fixed amount for the medical expenses of the employees and their families.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Job Profile (PO)

The Probationary Officers (PO) work under various departments in the bank. They ensure a smooth and uniform workflow in the bank. They are provided 2 years of training and a fixed amount is paid to them during the training period. The responsibilities of IBPS Probationary Officers are provided below:

  • Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Disbursement of loans and rating of credit portfolio.
  • May work as a single-window operator or teller.
  • The focus of various schemes and policies in the rural banks.
  • Audit reports and NPA recovery.
  • Managing in-house staff and clerical staff.

Apart from the above job responsibilities, the POs may also be required to work under various other departments such as Loan, Credit, Recovery, Treasury, etc. as per the requirements. The job profile is highly dynamic and the banks rely on the POs for their various operations.

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Job Profile (Clerk)

The Office Assistants (Clerks) take care of all the clerical works in the offices. They are responsible for assisting the higher-level officers in office work as well. They often work as the single window operators in the banks and carry out transaction and documents related work. Job responsibilities of IBPS RRB Clerk are provided below.

  • Receives and Acknowledges Cash, Drafts, Cheques, Pay Orders, and Other instruments.
  • Operates Cash Deposit and Withdrawal windows.
  • Maintains office records and files.
  • Assists higher officials in their day-to-day work.

  • Customer-support.
