IBPS RRB PO Exam Overview

The IBPS RRB PO exam is conducted in three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The Quantitative Aptitude section appears in both Prelims and Mains. Here we are providing the IBPS RRB PO Quant prelims and mains number of questions and time duration.

Prelims Exam:

  • Total Questions: 40 (Quantitative Aptitude) + 40 (Reasoning Ability) = 80
  • Total Marks: 40 (Quantitative Aptitude)
  • Time Duration: 20 Minutes
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Mains Exam:

  • Total Questions: 40 (Quantitative Aptitude) + other sections = 200
  • Total Marks: 50 (Quantitative Aptitude)

The IBPS RRB PO Notification is expected to be released in August 2025 to recruit Probationary Officer posts. The IBPS RRB PO Quant section plays an important role in the prelims and Mains exam. In the preliminary exam quant section contains significant weightage in both the IBPS RRB PO Prelims and Mains exams. In the Prelims, this section carries 40 marks with 40 questions & mains contains 40 questions, 40 Marks.
