IBPS RRB PO/Clerk Mains GA preparation becomes tough for most of the aspirants as they ignore the preliminary period. Unfortunately, for mains there isn’t enough time to prepare for the entire 6 months of general awareness.

The goal is to cover last 6 months of GA anyhow for all the topics which have been mentioned in the list. The best way to do the same is by picking out exact 6-7 months before the mains exam dates.
We do a monthly coverage around all the 10 topics which you can have a look at. It will help you immensely because you will have direct access to all the important stuff.
Now, it’s obvious previous year questions aren’t relevant but reading them will give you the idea of type of question asked, and most importantly it will communicate the difficulty level.
The No.1 book for the 2021-22 general awareness section is “General Knowledge 2022 by Manohar Pandey (Arihant Publications”.)
It is a fine book for covering most of the syllabus of the RRB PO/Clerk Mains GA. The mentioned book is a legitimate source of static GK topics along with recent current affairs. The book is appropriate for the topics mentioned below:
Don’t miss out on this one as it is one of the few books available which solely focuses on the preparation of banking awareness from examination perspective. Avoid getting stuck only on static and current affairs. Banking GA is highly important as ample questions are asked in the mains exam.
If you are regular at reading good newspaper articles and good GK videos daily then you will have a better recollection. Current affairs or news discussed on Monday will get repeated in newspapers on some other day with its update. People who only read pdfs every 15 days or prepare monthly will never have this advantage.
So, is it not too much to focus on Current affairs daily?
Regular newspaper reading is a must. But yes, don’t spend too much time on current affairs from other sources. A total of 15-20 minutes daily is more than enough. Otherwise, you will miss out on other subjects.
The time period might be short but that is applicable, and not just to you. So, make the best out of all the time available to you at the moment. You will have to be very direct and strict with your preparation approach. A single day delay would also bring disappointment.
