IBPS RRB syllabus is much similar to that of any other bank exam but the prelims pattern is different from any other bank exams.

Note: All the exams will be conducted via online mode and will be objective in nature (Objective Type). All the sections, except English Language section & Hindi Language section, will be bilingual. That means, they will be asked in both English & Hindi. There will be both sectional as well as overall cut offs in IBPS RRB 2022 Officer Scale-I (PO) exam. 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer given by a candidate in IBPS RRB 2022 Exam.

Note: IBPS will conduct no interview for IBPS RRB 2022 Office Assistant exam. The final selection will be based on marks scored by the candidates in RRB Clerk Mains exam 2022. Plus, 1/4th marks will be deducted for every wrong answer given/marked.

Q1. What is IBPS RRB syllabus?
IBPS RRB syllabus covers, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness, Hindi/English Language for both Prelims & Mains exam.
Q2. Is there any difference between the syllabus of IBPS RRB PO and Clerk exam?
No there is no difference between both the syllabuses. The topics are the same. Only the difference lies in the difficulty level of the questions asked in the exam.
Q4. Can I Apply for both IBPS RRB Officer Scale-I and Office Assistant?
Yes, you can apply for both the exams if you meet the eligibility criteria of both the posts.
Q6. Are the marks obtained in prelims exam considered for calculating the final selection?
No, only the marks scored in the mains and interview round will be considered for final selection.
Q5. Is there negative marking in the IBPS RRB exam?
Yes, as per the negative marking scheme, one-fourth of the marks (1/4th) will be deducted for every wrong answer marked.
Q7. Is there any sectional cut off for each section in IBPS RRB exam?
Yes, you will be required to obtain a minimum score in Prelims and Mains examination to be considered to be shortlisted for next round.
