IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

Candidate’s selection for IBPS RRB Clerk jobs is based on two levels selection of preliminary and main examination. You need to obtain a minimum qualifying score in the preliminary exam to take the main exam. The final selection of candidates for RRB clerk posts is based on marks obtained in the main examination. 

  • IBPS RRB Clerk preliminary and mains examination is conducted online.
  • Question paper pattern is multiple choice questions (MCQ).
  • All the sections in the exam are in English & Hindi except the English paper.
  • Candidate needs to qualify for sectional and overall cut-offs in preliminary and main examinations.
  • Marks Pattern: ¼ deducted for negative marking.

IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Pattern 2024 for Prelims

During the IBPS RRB Clerk prelims examination, participants must complete 80 questions within a 45-minute (Reasoning- 25 minutes, Quantitative- 20 minutes), with a penalty of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers. Achieving success requires meeting both individual section cutoffs and the overall cutoff.

IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Pattern 2024 for Mains

During the IBPS RRB Clerk mains examination, participants will be tasked with solving 200 questions divided into five sections, with each section containing 40 questions. A total of 2 hours will be allotted for completing these questions. It is important to note that there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
