Documents Required on the IBPS Exam Day

On the day of the IBPS RRB exam, candidates must bring certain documents, including a photocopy of the admit card and a valid photo ID. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.

• Voter’s Card or Bank Passbook with a photograph
• Photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer
• Identity Card issued by a recognized college or university
• Aadhar Card or E-Aadhar card with a photograph

Following Items are Not Allowed Inside the Examination Centre:-

• Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner etc.
• Any communication device like Mobile Phone. Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc.
• Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hairpin, Hair-band, Belts, Cap, etc.
• All ornament like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch etc. should be thoroughly checked.
• Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, devices with screen freeze or storage facilities etc.
• Any metallic item
• Any eatable item opened or packed
• Any other item that could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like camera, Bluetooth devices, etc.

Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action including a ban from future examinations and police complaints. Candidates are advised in their interest not to bring any of the banned items to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for their safekeeping cannot be assured. IBPS or any agency engaged in the conduct of the online examination shall not take any responsibility for the loss of any of the items. Responsibility for the safekeeping of the same shall rest with the candidates at cost or no cost.

General Instructions For IBPS RRB 2024 Exam

• Candidates will have to invariably produce the requisite documents such as a valid call letter, a photocopy of photo-identity proof along with the original bearing the same name as it appears on the online submitted application form, etc. at the time of preliminary and main/ single examination and interview and/or joining respectively. No document shall be directly sent to IBPS by the candidates before or after the online examination.
• Candidates who do not bring the authenticated/ stamped call letter of preliminary examination and authenticated/ stamped photocopy of ID proof at the time of the main examination will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
• During Single Examination for Officers Scale II and III, a call letter and copy of ID proof need to be submitted at the examination venue as instructed.
• Candidates need to bring one additional photograph (same as pasted on the call letter) along with the call letter and other requisite documents as per the information provided in the information handout and call letter. Candidates reporting without a photograph pasted on the call letter or without one additional photograph (same as pasted on the call letter) will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
• Candidates are advised to apply for only one post i.e. Scale-I, II, and III in Officers’ cadre. The applications of candidates applying for more than one post in Officers’ cadre will be summarily rejected.
