IBPS PO Mains 2022 Best 4 Last-Minute Tips to Score Full Marks

Here are the 4 best last-minute tips you need to follow to make sure you have done all that was needed to gear up for a perfect performance:

1. Attempt only what you know, avoid guesswork

You must keep in mind that there is a negative marking of 0.25 mark per question for each wrong answer given. So, keep all the above points in mind to avoid negative marking. So, it is always a better option to leave the question you’re completely unsure of. There is no penalty if one leaves a question blank.

2. Effective Time Management Backed by Speed & Accuracy

You need to try to attempt those questions that you can solve easily and quickly. First, try to attempt questions that you can easily solve. Do not try to solve every question but try to solve every question you feel you can solve quickly and accurately. Effective time management is one of the most major keys to success in the IBPS PO Mains 2022 exam. Speed and accuracy are the sous of the IBPS PO Mains Exam. If you will keep solving the questions with speed, you’ll get the time to solve the tough and tricky questions. This way, you can leave the tricky questions to revisit them later whenever time allows.

3. Take Care of the Sectional Cut-Off & Revise all the Formulas and Tables Again

You will be required to score the minimum marks required in each section to clear the sectional cut-off and also the minimum total store to clear the overall cut-off in the online Exam to be short-listed for the Mains Exam. You can also take a look at the last year’s cut-off to know how much you need to score this year in the Exam. Give a quick revision to all the formulas and tables that you have prepared. They always play a major role in implementing time management and enhancing speed. So, it becomes mandatory to practice them down or apply them randomly to experience their power in the actual Exam.

4. Don’t Go for New Topics, solve previous years’ question papers and Mock Tests

It is advisable to avoid preparing for new topics in the last moments before the Exam, as it may create confusion in your mind. In doing so, you may also forget certain important points that may appear in the Exam. It is always better to revise what you know. Don’t forget that the total exam duration for IBPS PO Mains 2022 will be 3 hours 30 minutes.

Keep your Admit Card, ID Proofs, Photographs, Aarogya Setu App ready

Don’t forget that it is mandatory to take the call letter of Online Main Exam along with authenticated/stamped Call letter of Online Preliminary examination and authenticated/stamped photocopy of (currently valid) photo identity proof (such as PAN Card/ Passport/Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card with photograph/Bank Passbook with photograph/Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead/Identity Card issued by a recognized College or University/Aadhar Card/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph/Bar Council ID Card with photograph/Employee ID) to the exam centre. Plus, do take with you the original photo identity proof.

NOTE: Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License will NOT be accepted as valid ID proof. In case of candidates who have changed their name will be allowed only if they produce Gazette notification/their marriage certificate/ affidavit in original.

How to build the right exam strategy and clear the IBPS PO Mains 2022 Exam in first attempt?

Make sure you go to the Exam with a good Exam strategy. It will help you in attempting every question. For that, you need to make up your mind to skip questions you could get stuck on, to return to them later to complete the Exam. You need to skip every tough question that stumps you and attempt every question you feel you can answer quickly. For instance, if a minute slipped away and you still can’t answer a question, you should immediately skip it. If you will keep mulling it over, you may naturally run out of time. So, you need to go through the Exam and try to do all the questions you know right away first, and then you will have loads of time to work out harder questions if this strategy goes well. And it will go well with regular practice.

Takeaway

You need to keep in mind that each question has a fixed weightage in the actual exam. Therefore, you should not invest more than the required amount of time in a single question. Skip the question, if it seems confusing or a hard nut to crack. This is the most important last-minute advice! If you can finish all questions, you can get time to come back to it later. You still have time to practice it via IBPS PO Mains 2022 Mock Test! So, what are you waiting for?
