Preparing for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) Probationary Officer (PO) exam requires a structured and focused approach. IBPS PO prelims exam 2023 will be conducted in online mode with 3 sections i.e. English language, logical reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. Only objective types of questions are asked. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be allotted and for an incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Candidates have to clear both the sectional and overall cutoff to clear the preliminary examination.

Candidates who have cleared prelims exams are eligible to appear for main exams and for the final selection i.e. Interview round. Similar to prelims exams, the correct answer contains 1 mark and for the wrong answer, 0.25 will be deducted. This exam will have both objective and descriptive questions.
