IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a graduate in any discipline from university recognized by Government of India.
- Candidates must have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate proving that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam, and they must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in Graduation when registering for the IBPS Bank-PO examination.
- Working knowledge of computer systems is required for the job as well as to take the IBPS PO exam, which is administered online.
- Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.
IBPS PO 2022 study plan: Exam Pattern
In the preliminary exam, IBPS implemented separate sectional timing for each section. The IBPS PO exam (CRP XI) for hiring candidates will consist of two parts: Tier 1 or the IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or the IBPS Mains Exam. This examination is followed by an in-person interview.

- Note: IBPS will be conducting a descriptive paper in its mains exam for selection of candidates to the post of Probationary Officer. - Candidates who pass the mains exam are invited to a face-to-face interview worth a maximum of 100 points. The interview requires a minimum of 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
- The interview round lasts about 15-20 minutes, during which a panel of bank officials questions the candidates about themselves, the banking industry, current events, general knowledge, and so on. Candidates must arrive at the interview well-dressed, confident, and with all required documents.
- The final merit list is compiled using the results of the main examination and the interview. IBPS calculates the final score by allocating weightage to the main examination and interview in the ratio of 80:20.
