IBPS PO Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

IBPS PO Recruitment 2025
IBPS Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) are recruited every year through a Common Recruitment Process (CRP), commonly known as the IBPS PO MT exam. IBPS PO Marking Scheme
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as a penalty to arrive at a corrected score. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Online Main examination for CRP- PO/MT- XIII will subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating Banks and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the help of IBPS. Items Not Allowed Inside IBPS PO Examination Centre
The following items are NOT allowed inside the examination centre:
Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, Geometry/Pencil Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc. Any communication device like a Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, a Health Band etc.Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hairpin, Hair-band, Belt, Cap, etc. All ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch, etc. should be thoroughly checked.Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, devices with screen freeze or storage facilities etc.Any metallic item Any edible item opened or packed, water bottle, etc. Any other item that could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like a camera, Bluetooth devices, etc.
Any infringement of these instructions shall entail cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations and police complaints. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any of the banned items to the venue of the examination, as arrangements for their safekeeping cannot be assured. IBPS or any agency engaged in the conduct of the online examination shall not take any responsibility for loss of any of the items. Responsibility of the safekeeping of the same shall rest with the candidates at their cost or no cost.

IBPS PO 2025 Notification: FAQ
Ans. The selection process for the IBPS PO Notification 2025 includes three stages: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and Interview.
The IBPS PO notification is expected to be released in August 2025.
Ans. As Per the official calendar, the IBPS PO prelims and mains exams are held on the 4th, 5th, and 11th October 2025, and the Mains Exam will be conducted on 29th November 2025.
Ans. The application fee for aspirants from the UR category seeking to be considered for the IBPS PO 2025 is Rs. 850.
Typically, around 11 public sector banks participate. The list will be confirmed in the 2025 notification.
The candidate must be 20 to 30 years as of 01.08.2025, with age relaxations applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.
