The IBPS Clerk Exam 2024 comprises two phases: Preliminary and Main. Both phases consist of objective-type questions that assess candidates’ proficiency in various subjects related to banking and general awareness. Candidates check the overall selection process is the  given below:

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024 For Prelims 

The IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam consists of three Sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability.

Total Marks: 100.

Duration: 1 hour (60 minutes).

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024 For Mains

The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam consists of Five sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, General/Financial Awareness, and Computer Aptitude.

Total Marks: 200.

Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes (160 minutes).

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark, and there is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2024 Document Verification

Document verification is the last selection possess for IBPS Clerk 2024 Exam. While reporting for the Joining/ Document Verification, the candidate should produce valid prescribed documents given below in addition to the documents requested by the participating bank to which the candidate is provisionally allotted. In the absence of valid documents candidature of the candidates shall be cancelled. No documents/ certificates shall be submitted separately to IBPS/ Nodal Bank/ Participating banks during the selection process. All the documents/ certificates stated below must be submitted to the allottee bank as per their directions.

List of Documents to be produced at the time of joining/document verification

• Valid system-generated printout of the online application form registered for CRP Clerks-XIV.
• Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB).
• Photo Identify Proof as indicated in Point K (i) of the notification.
• Mark sheets & certificates for Graduation or equivalent qualification etc. Proper document from Board / University for having 
•  declared the result on or before 21.07.2024 has to be submitted.
• Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by the Government of India in the case of SC / ST / OBC category candidates.
