IBPS Clerk Quant Attempt Strategy

IBPS Clerk Quant Attempt Strategy: The quant is always a little worrisome for most banking aspirants. However, you should follow the given strategy to maximise your attempts and scores.

IBPS Clerk Quant Attempt Strategy

Rule No.1 – Attempt Quant Second in Order After Reasoning

The reasoning section will have the opportunity for gaining maximum marks. So, attempt it first. And then go for the quant section.

Attempt Arithmetic at Last While Attempting the Quant Section

Questions like simplification, quadratic equations, approximations, wrong numbers, and missing numbers are the easiest ones. Attempt them first as your priority questions. This shall help you in gaining the maximum mark share in less time because these questions can be solved at maximum speed. Now you can approach DI questions. Try to do calculations in your mind if possible as it will make your attempts at a good speed. Then you should solve the arithmetic questions at last.

Divide your attempt strategy on the basis of category of questions

Now, don’t divide it as per topic such as profit and loss, percentage, etc. Divide them as per the categories mentioned above which are: speed maths questions, arithmetic, and data interpretation. This way you will be able to devise a clear attempt strategy. Otherwise, if choose to go topic-wise it will become too chaotic.

Avoid pressure to not compromise on attempt and accuracy

There is no need to take pressure during the exam. You have done your hard work and now is the time to attempt questions that you have practised, revised, and have attended classes or coaching for. So, let go of the pressure or it will affect your accuracy, speed, and time. You will even take time to solve questions that you know by heart, but still, you might crumble.
