Blunders Candidates Make Before the Exam
Forgetting the Exam Date
- This is the kind of mistake that often costs an arm and a leg for the candidate. Such cases occur when the candidate gets so wrapped up in exam preparation that they completely forget the exam date. Hence, be very very mindful of the exam date.
Not Remembering the Topics of Syllabus
- Forgetting your exam syllabus during the exam preparation is nothing short of not collecting your admit card. It leads to unfinished or untouched topics that further result in the inability to answer many questions. This is exactly the situation no one wants to face. Thus, it’s advisable to refer to your syllabus whenever you need it.
Skipping the Evaluation of Your Preparation
- When a candidate doesn’t know where he stands on his preparation journey, it makes the student un-ready for the exam. That further brings forth hesitation, lack of exam confidence and anxiety. It has a dire impact on overall performance in the exam. Mock tests proved to be a very effective tool for having insights regarding preparation.
Lack of Clarity Regarding Concepts
- A great score demands clarity in terms of concepts. Without that the candidates tend to make silly mistakes that definitely don’t lead to a desirable outcome. Hence, during your preparation make sure that you understand and learn all the fundamental concepts by heart.
Forgetting the Exam Pattern
- Knowing the recruitment process, scheme of the examination, pattern of the question paper is extremely crucial. Say, you forget the marks allocated to a particular subject, it would be very difficult to plan your preparation strategy for that subject.
