IBPS Clerk 2021 Prelims Exam Pattern 

A 1-hour exam with negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. A total of 100 questions with each question weighing 1-mark.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Prelims Syllabus 

The idea behind prelims is to shortlist as many good candidates as possible by testing their speed and accuracy for solving a problem.  

The quantitative aptitude is one of the toughest sections in this exam. The syllabus is quite vast and would need additional learning of speed math tricks for solving questions within the time limit.  

English language has a handful of topics to be covered and can be high-scoring for the aspirants if they prepare well.  

Reasoning Ability – Conceptual learning and clarity would be key to crack the reasoning section.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Mains Exam Pattern 

The mains examination is tougher in terms of the difficulty level. You will have a total 2 hours and 40 minutes to solve the paper. Negative marking will be there as usual. The added subject is of general and financial awareness. The aim of the mains examination is to test you further on your conceptual clarity.

IBPS Clerk 2021 Mains Syllabus 

The syllabus for mains is more or less the same. As mentioned earlier, the difficulty level will be enhanced for the mains.

The IBPS Clerk’s syllabus is quite similar to the SBI clerk. Many aspirants who recently appeared for SBI clerk will find this exam attractive. However, over confidence should be avoided. It’s better to give separate mock tests for IBPS Clerk 2021.
