Almost all the IBPS Clerk aspirants must have read or heard by now the news of the cancellation of the IBPS Clerk 2021 exam yesterday, in an utter disappointment. The exam was put on hold by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) on the directions of the Finance Ministry on Tuesday, till a final view is taken on conducting the exams in regional languages. The Committee has been formed to take a final view on it which will give its recommendations within 15 days. Until then, the examination will be kept on hold.

Earlier, a total of 5830 vacancies had been released by the IBPS for 2021. As per the earlier official notification, IBPS Clerk prelims were scheduled to be held on August 28th & 29th, and September 4th, 2021 respectively, and the mains examination was scheduled to be held on 31st October 2021.
