The candidates who qualify in the Tier-1 exam will have to appear for Tier-2 Exam. The tier-2 exam is divided into 2 parts.
This will include the translation of a passage of 500 words from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa. This will be an offline descriptive test and will consist of 40 marks and the duration of the exam will be 1 hour.
Spoken ability. It will be assessed at the time of the Tier-III exam (Interview/ Personality test).
The Tier-II exam is qualifying in nature. The qualifying mark in Tier 2 is 20 out of 50 for SA/Exe.
The candidates who qualify in Tier 1 & Tier 2 exams will have to go through an interview round which will be conducted by the Intelligence Bureau. This will be for 50 marks. This will be the final stage of the selection process and candidates qualifying in this stage will be selected based on marks obtained.
