1. Master Simplification and Approximation

Questions from simplification and approximation topics are easy but as we know the ECGC PO exam is a time-oriented exam. Due to this, most of the candidates who can solve the questions but they unable to solve them due to less time. One can master simplification and approximation if he/she has good practice on questions and has worked on tricks.

2. Focus on Data Interpretation

DI is very important in the exam as it carries at least 15-20 questions in the SBI Clerk exam. Pay attention to the properties of various types of graphic data including bar, pie, and line graphic data. It’s also good to know percentage, average, and ratio calculations in the back of one’s head as a way of being accurate.

3. Learn Number Series

Number series questions candidates are provided with the patterns in which they are required to understand the pattern first. Questions may be asked in a way that you have provided with the pattern in which a number is missing in the series and you have to find out the missing number. Exercises of series patterns should be encouraged as they make problems devising quicker.

4. Master in Quadratic Equations

These are usually direct and most often can be solved within a short span of time. Emphasize factorization and formula methods as you may get high scores on the quadratic equations.

5. Command Over Arithmetic

The major areas of arithmetic include percentages, ratios, averages, profit & loss, simple interest, and compound interest. The questions may be asked from basic to advanced level. So, practice the questions based on different patterns. First, understand the basics of the topic then learn the formula and you are advised to make a short note of the formulas. Regularly learn the formulas and implement different different operations on them.

6. Working on Time & Work and Time, Speed, Distance

Every baking exam consists of questions from this topic and you can expect at least 2-3 questions from time & work and time, and speed, & distance. You should concentrate on the formulas that are used in questions of work and amount, pipes and cisterns, and train and boat races.

7. Revise and Practice Mensuration

Concentration with area, volume, and the perimeter, and some of the basic formulas belonging to circles, triangles, and rectangles. The ability to recall these formulas at your fingertips will assist you in solving such questions effectively.

8. Practice Mock Tests Regularly
