  • Not even a single banking/ insurance exam is complete without this topic. Here, you get some data in the form of a table, chart etc. or a combination of these and then you need to answer questions based on this data.
  • Very often, questions are based on ratio & proportion, percentage, averages etc. So ensure that you understand the concepts & shortcuts of ratio & proportion, percentage & averages.
  • Now that only 12 days are left, ensure that you practice at least 1 set on a daily basis. For the initial 5-7 days solve DI sets without any time-limit and for the remaining days, time your attempts and see how questions are you able to answer in a controlled environment.
  • Also, start practising Sectional Tests and Mock Tests at this juncture. Review your attempts and check out the detailed explanation of the questions you skipped/answered incorrectly.

Wrong/ Missing Number Series

  • This is a very scoring section and in fact, if you are well-versed in this topic, you need to attempt these questions first and secure their marks before moving on to any other topic.
  • Remember that there is no definite formula to solve number series questions. It’s only with practice that you get to see different scenarios.
  • Practice at least 5-7 questions of number series on a daily basis. If you are bored because of your studies you can solve these questions as stressbusters.
  • Review your attempts especially if you have skipped any question or incorrectly answered any question.
  • Use these tips to answer these questions quickly and with accuracy.

Quadratic Equations Comparison

  • This is another topic which has been asked a lot of time in previous years similar exams. This year also, it’s highly probable that questions on quadratic equations comparison will be asked in LIC AAO Prelims.
  • Some aspirants get scared when they see an equation. But please be informed that this topic is easy to master. You need to calculate the values of x in different equations and compare them.
  • Use Quadratic Equations Comparison Tips which will help you understand the concept and there are tips as well to answer the questions quickly.
  • Remember, practice is the key to master this topic. If you’ve practised well enough, you can even solve these equations in your mind.

Simplification & Approximation

  • Like number series, this is one of the easiest topics and should be solved right away so that you secure these questions’ marks before moving to the other topics.
  • Learn by heart the tables until 30, squares & square roots until 50 and cube & cube roots until 30.
  • Only practice can help you increase your speed and that too without compromising on your accuracy. Practice at least 5-7 simplification & approximation questions on a daily basis without fail.
  • Use the best tips of simplification & approximation to improve your speed.
  • Review your attempts to see which questions’ answer you didn’t get correctly. Learn from your mistakes.
  • Start solving sectional tests and see if you are able to answer simplification & approximation questions in a controlled environment.

Data Sufficiency

  • This is a tricky topic but can be mastered with practice. Remember that you don’t have to solve a question but you have to determine whether the given information is sufficient enough to answer the question.
  • Some aspirants get confused while answering data sufficiency questions and end up answering the questions incorrectly. Read the options very carefully and compute the questions with due diligence.
  • Check out these time-saving tips for these questions. Start practising these questions on a daily basis and at the same time keep reviewing your attempts.
