How to Prepare Computer Awareness Module for SSC CHSL?

To prepare for these topics, you need to follow some strategies and use some resources. Here are some suggestions:

  • Ensure that your computer has all the necessary applications and software downloaded so you can use it every day.
  • Start your preparation with information on basic computer shortcuts, computer organization, and CPU.
  • Once you have mastered the fundamentals of computers, switch to windows operating systems like MS Office and online banking software.
  • Practice using MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Access, and MS Outlook for various tasks like creating documents, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, and e-mails.
  • Learn how to browse the internet effectively using search engines like Google and Bing. Also, learn how to download and upload files from various websites.
  • Manage your e-mail account regularly and learn how to send and receive e-mails with attachments. Also, learn how to use e-banking services like net banking and mobile banking.
  • Understand the basics of networking and cyber security. Learn about the common networking devices like routers, switches, hubs etc., and the protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP etc. Also learn about the common cyber threats like hacking, virus etc., and how to prevent them using antivirus software, firewalls etc.
