1-Day Hourly Schedule for the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Preparation

Here we have provided the 1-day hourly schedule for the SBI Clerk prelims exam preparation to help candidates utilize their time effectively. Following this schedule will help them to systematically follow the study, revision, practice, breaks during the preparation, and much more. 9:30 AM – 10:00 AMBreakfast/Short Break: Take a quick break to grab a healthy snack or just relax and recharge for the next study block.
10:00 AM – 11:30 AMReasoning Ability: Solve puzzles, seating arrangements, and coding-decoding questions. Practice different types of puzzles to build your reasoning skills.
11:30 AM – 1:00 PMEnglish Language: Focus on Sentence Correction, Cloze Tests, and Fill in the Blanks. Practice these types of questions under timed conditions.
1:00 PM – 1:45 PMLunch Break: Enjoy a nutritious meal and take time to unwind before getting back to your studies.
1:45 PM – 3:00 PMNumerical Ability: Focus on Data Interpretation and Quadratic Equations. These topics require a bit more time, so make sure to practice thoroughly.
3:00 PM – 4:00 PMMock Test/Practice Paper: Take a full-length Prelims mock test. Time yourself to simulate real exam conditions and improve your time management.
4:00 PM – 4:15 PMShort Break: Step away from the books for a bit to refresh your mind. Stretch or take a short walk.
4:15 PM – 5:30 PMReasoning Ability: Try to solve questions of reasoning using tricks and shortcuts to save time. Focus on improving your speed and accuracy.
5:30 PM – 6:30 PMReview Mistakes from Mock Test: Practice mock tests as much as possible to track your preparation level. Identify your weak areas and focus on improving those areas.
6:30 PM – 7:00 PMDinner Break: Relax and enjoy dinner. Take a break from studying to recharge.
7:00 PM – 8:00 PMEnglish Language: Review vocabulary, practice error spotting, and revise important grammar rules.
8:00 PM – 9:00 PMNumerical Ability: Write down the important formulas and keep revising them. It will help you with quick calculations. Practice solving problems faster and more accurately.
9:00 PM – 9:30 PMPlan for Tomorrow’s Study: Make sure that you set clear goals for the next day in advance by which you can avoid time wastage on the next day.
9:30 PMSleep/Rest: Getting good sleep is very important to keep the mind freshen up for the next day.

Tips to Manage Time Effectively During SBI Clerk Exam Preparation

Below we have provided the tips to manage time effectively during the SBI Clerk exam preparation. Candidates are advised to read all the tips carefully before following the schedule provided in this blog.

  • Create a Study Schedule: Prepare a daily/timely table according to all subjects and divide the day’s hours to each subject such as – (Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, and English Language). Spend more time on complex topics as long as all the questions are discussed within a specified time duration. You are advised to stick with the plan seriously to complete your study process within a time and easily.
  • Prioritize Topics Based on Weightage: Concentrating on high-weightage areas means focusing on the topics that questions are highly asked in the SBI Clerk exam. You are advised to get familiarized with the past exams and spend more time on high-weightage topic areas, do not forget to cover other topics also.
  • Set Realistic Goals: Divide the syllabus into weekly parts and create realistic daily or weekly targets. While making realistic goals make sure that you take time for study, revision, and practice, and for health make sure that you take time for exercises and short breaks also.
  • Practice with Mock Tests: Try to solve mock tests and previous year’s papers and also try to set a time limit for solving these tests. This will help you to increase the speed and accuracy of solving the question papers. Also, you will be able to find the weak areas and topics by which you can focus on them later.
  • Use the Pomodoro Technique: Organize in blocks of time focusing and working for 25 minutes then take a 5-minute break. Subsequently, take a break that ranges between 15 to 30 minutes after 4 intervals of studying or reading. In this way you will be able to focus on your goals effectively, it will keep you away from boredom and you will be able to learn easily.
  • Stay Organized: You are advised to categorize books, notes, revision materials, and anything you may need to revise for your exams systematically. If your study is arranged in a system then you will be able to cover each topic easily without any stress.
  • Revise Regularly: Save time for revision as you approach the final days of your examination. The revision will help you to focus on these areas that you think are tough for you. Develop a definite revision timetable at the end of your preparation level.
