IBPS PO Selection Process

 IBPS PO 2021 Selection Procedure will consist of three stages, Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, and the Interview Round. Candidates are required to fill a single IBPS PO Application Form for the first stage leading to the other two stages. But, separate admit cards are released for each exam. Candidates who will qualify Preliminary exam will appear in the main exam. Similarly, those who will qualify for the Main exam will become eligible to appear in the Interview round. They will be promoted to the next stages on the basis of the cut-off. Finally, those who will qualify for the Interview will be recruited as Probationary Officers in the participating banks.

Tips to clear IBPS in the very first attempt

1.    Refer Previous Year Question Papers

You need to analyze the previous year’s question papers to know the exam pattern and the types of questions that are being asked. It will give you an exact idea about the frequently asked topics and those which are not.

2.    Get Good Study material

Candidates must buy good-quality or result-oriented books to cover all the important topics of the syllabus. These books help in clearing the basics. Once you master the basics, you can work on speed and accuracy in solving different types of questions.

3.    Cover All the Important Topics

There are questions from some topics that are asked every year. You need to look out for those topics and prepare accordingly. Give more attention to the topics that are important but tough to answer. The toughness varies from candidate to candidate. So, work on the topics that you find tough.

It is considered as one of the most scoring topics in the English Language section in almost all bank and government exams, like SBI PO, IBPS PO, EPFO Asst., etc. Besides, practice questions on Error Spotting, Odd One Out, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitution, Para jumbles, Sentence Joining, Fillers – Single, Double, Vocabulary based questions, Synonyms/ Antonyms, Paragraph Completion, and Word/Phrase Replacement

2.    Reasoning Ability

To fetch good marks in the Reasoning Ability section, you need to focus on topics like Puzzles, Seating Arrangement, Coding-Decoding, Inequality, Blood Relations, Syllogism, Etc. Practice from Previous Year’s questions papers and attempt Mock Tests to check your speed and accuracy.

3.    Quantitative Aptitude
