Gate 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to appear in the GATE 2024 exam must meet the Gate 2025 eligibility criteria. Those, who will fail to meet the requirements set by the GATE authorities will not be allowed to take part in the admission process. GATE 2025 exam will be a national-level engineering exam for post-graduation, which will act as a window to admissions into M.E., M. TECH, and PH.D. courses at IITs, NITs, IISc, GFTIs, and other reputed Indian Universities. Gate 2025 eligibility criteria say that there is no age restriction for aspiring GATE candidates to apply GATE 2025 Exam. No minimum/maximum age limit is prescribed for this exam by the authorities. They should have a qualified degree to apply for the GATE exam 2025.

Gate 2025 Eligibility Criteria – Number of Attempts Limit
As per the Gate 2025 eligibility criteria, there is no limit to GATE Exam and they can take the exam more than once. In addition, the GATE score validity was 4 years until 2014. But from 2019 onwards it has been extended to 3 years, increasing 1 year to it. Candidates should keep in mind that they should clear the exam in their first or second attempt, although they get the advantage of unlimited attempts. Hence, they are recommended to clear the exam in the first or second attempt for better job prospects.

They should know that Indian citizens together with international candidates from Bangladesh, Nepal, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be eligible to appear in the GATE exam 2025. Plus, there is no age limit for the GATE Exam. They must have completed or must be in their final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree in science in any relevant subject.
In addition, there is no specified minimum passing percentage in the qualifying exam needed to apply for the GATE exam 2025. They should also have cleared B.Tech/ B.E. / B.Pharm or B. Arch or B.Sc. (Research)/ B.S. or M.
