Reasoning Ability

The questions covered a wide array of topics, such as puzzles, seating arrangement, syllogism, inequality, coding-decoding, blood relations, and direction sense. Candidates who practiced a variety of reasoning questions and enhanced their problem-solving skills could perform well in this section.

Quantitative Aptitude

The Quantitative Aptitude section in ESIC UDC Prelims 2019 Shift 1 also had 35 questions. The difficulty level of this section varied from moderate to difficult. The questions encompassed topics like simplification, approximation, number series, data interpretation, quadratic equations, and arithmetic problems related to time and work, profit and loss, percentages, etc. Data interpretation questions involved tabular data, line graphs, and pie charts. Candidates with strong mathematical skills and proficiency in quick calculations had an advantage in this section.

Overall Analysis

The overall analysis of ESIC UDC Prelims 2019 Shift 1 suggests that the paper was of moderate difficulty.
