ECGC PO Shift Timings 2024, General Instructions

Here we have provided some important instructions that candidates must follow to avoid any mistake. Any unfair means and mistake can lead to disqualification of a candidate’s candidature. So, read these tips and instructions carefully and appear in the exam stress-free.

• Carry Admit Card: Carry a physical printout of the admit card that you have downloaded from the link provided in the blog. It contains details such as Roll Number, Exam Centre, and Shift Timings. Admit cards will be required at the examination center on the examination day.
• Valid Photo ID: Candidates are advised to be ready and bring an original, valid photo ID (like Aadhar Card, PAN card, Passport, Driving license, etc.) at the examination center. The name on your photo identification should exactly match the name on your admit card.
• Passport-Size Photographs: Keep 1-2 passport-size photographs same as on the application form or admit card with you at all times.
• Reporting Time: It is the time in which candidates are required to reach before or on at the examination center. In most schemes, it is advisable to arrive a little early in order to be allowed into the center since latecomers may not be admitted in. The admit card will also show the reporting time which is usually one hour to the actual examination time.
• Dress Code: Do not wear rings or other goods such as bracelets, wristwatches, and any other accessories that are susceptive to be not allowed. Women should dress modestly and men should wear simple casual wear. Depending on the center’s rules, some do not allow the use of shoes, so take shoes off and wear sandals or slippers instead.
• No Electronic Gadgets: Any form of electronic items such as mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, or any electronic gadgets are prohibited in the examination hall. Take only what is necessary as prescribed.
• Stationery Requirements: Do not share your items, so, you need to bring to classes your own stationery for writing including pen and pencils. In most cases, every calculation will be on rough sheets to be arranged by the invigilators.
• Follow Invigilator Instructions: Pay attention to the invigilators’ directions on matters touching on exam rules, distribution of the question paper, and the end of the exam.
